The MVAs

The Malaysian Video Awards that Makes Viewers Amused thru the Many Videos Aired.

Simple wit for simple times. Life as a MVA volunteer is pretty tough. It's a 10am to 10pm job. You don't have a designated break time so it depends how much workload there is and how many volunteers there are on that day. Food is covered with a budget of RM15 or so per meal. The whole day I've been watching Independant Films from Germany, Britain, Singapore and of course, Malaysia. Sounds fun.

Well, meeting a lot of influential people in the film industry is really fun. It's good to know that all of us have more or less the same view on the industry here. There are a few that are terribly eccentric, not that it bothers me. In fact, it's nice to hear their views.

Well, for those interested in Japanese/British/Malaysian Animation. There's a screening this Thursday (16th September 2004) at the National Art Gallery. The 9th MVA Awards Night is on the 17th of September, 2004. Those that know me should give me a call if they want free tickets. I've only got two left. First come first served.

Well, it's almost 2:15am and I should be getting some sleep.
